And at the core is always our Laso strategic thinking and keen sense of brand, which shapes this exciting and energizing pool of ideas.
Based in Montreal, Laso is a product of global culture and mobilizes locally to work with clients wherever their audiences are. The visionary at the head of Laso is Canadian-born, Parsons-educated creative innovator Brittany McBain. In a dream start to her career, Brittany cut her teeth interning at Alberta Ferretti in Paris right out of university. Then the stars aligned and an opening at Maison Simons opened up to help launch the storied family-run retailer successfully into e-commerce at the dawn of online shopping. Brittany took time out to achieve a life goal and study fashion marketing at Parsons. Her deep immersion in New York’s fashion and art world, with stints at Milk and Badgley Mischka to boot, provided an indelible experience that would further shape her international sensibility. She returned to Simons for the invaluable opportunity of heading up PR for its cross-Canada expansion. And perhaps the most important outcome for her was that good business could share space with community- and culture-building. The stage was set for Laso.
